Q: Who is "The Coordinator Group"?
A: We are a team of committed professionals. This is our chosen career, not a part-time business. We are at our desks Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. MST- AZ. Individually and collectively we realize that our success depends upon your success. The Coordinator Group seeks and relishes long-term business relationships and works hard to build these relationships.

Q: Are the team members related?
A: Yes. Chuck and Karen have been partners in life and in love for over 35 years. Christopher is their son. It is a family-owned and operated business.

Q: Are you connected with Source for Sources, Inc.?
A: Yes. We legally and officially changes the name from Source for Sources, Inc. to The Coordinator Group, Inc. in 2005. The new name more accurately reflects our business focus.

Q: What is your legal status?
A: We are an
S corporation. There is no need to send us a 1099 at the end of the year.

Q: Does The Coordinator Group require a contract?
A: We require a single-page agreement that simply states that 1) you recognize that we are independent contractors, and, as such, you pay no taxes/benefits to/for us; 2) you agree with our rates, fees, and terms; 3) you will pay us. We like to Keep It Sweet and Simple - the KISS philosophy.

Q: Is there a long-term commitment?
A: No.

Q: What are the benefits to using online/virtual transaction coordinators?
A: You are working with independent contractors (business people who contract to perform services for others, but do not have - and do not want - the legal status of employees). Thus, you do not pay employee taxes, benefits, or insurance, and don't have such issues as OSHA requirements.

Q: What do you charge for transaction coordinator work?
A: Our rates vary from state to state depending upon the contract and task lists involved. Please use the form on the contact page to request more information.

Q: Does The Coordinator Group offer other services?
A: Yes. TCG offers custom admin services that include, but not limited to, document management, financial consulting [cost analyses, turn-around guidance, forecasts, projections], custom spreadsheets, graphic layouts, mail merge projects.

Q: My sales staff needs to be out there…selling, not pulling paperwork together. But, I need their files to be complete before disbursing commission checks. Do have any suggestions?
A: We recommended our document management (DM) services created especially for brokers. We create a "doc inventory" [think checklist] of documents that real estate professionals like you required as mandatory for a complete file. From there, we will work with your staff to help them understand the process, complete their files in a timely manner, and get their commission checks in a timely manner, too! It's a win/win solutocion, because you get complete files in compliance with your requirements, and the agents get their commission checks in a timely manner.

Q: What if my agents want more assistance with their files, more in the line of Transaction Coordination?
A: We can handle that, too. We offer two transaction coordination (TC) packages to single agents, agent teams, and brokers that go beyond DM work - Standard and Custom services. Whereas DM is geared toward the broker for file completion, TC is aimed at assisting the agent and providing ancillary and supporting services. The difference between the Standard and Extended services is the level of support.

Q: What if I decide that your Document Management is mandatory for all my agents?
A: Again, it's a win-win. We'll give your agents informational flyers about our TC services. The brokerage picks up the tab (less than $100 a file!). The agents have the option of using our TC services and just pay the difference between DM and TC rates.

Q: Do you work in all states?
A: Yes...and No. We can accommodate brokers in all states for document management work (DM), however we limit our transaction coordinator (TC) work to select states. Please inquire. For admin services we work in all states.

Q: Are you part of any other group or team?
A: We are an independent entity. We do - and are responsible for - our own work. We neither manage nor are managed by others.

Q: Where are you located?
A: We are located in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Q: What platforms or software do you use for TC work?
A: We are constantly searching for the best platforms for our client work. Currently we are using a platform of our own design in Microsoft SharePoint.
